Medical center for healthcare
Who We Serve
At Air Ride Colorado, we proudly serve individuals, families, and healthcare providers across the state who need safe, respectful, and timely transportation for behavioral and mental health care. Our goal is to ensure that no one in crisis is left without a way to reach the help they need.
Individuals Experiencing Mental Health or Behavioral Crises
We provide secure, calm transportation for those facing psychiatric emergencies, emotional distress, or behavioral health episodes—ensuring they arrive at the right place for care.
Patients on 72-Hour Mental Health Holds (M-1 Holds)
We assist facilities and law enforcement with the safe transfer of individuals on involuntary holds, following all required Colorado BHST guidelines with dignity and professionalism.
Medicaid-Eligible Clients
We offer Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) for clients attending behavioral health therapy, doctor’s appointments, or post-hospital follow-ups, especially for those with limited access to transportation.
Hospitals, Clinics, and Mental Health Facilities
We partner with care providers to support their patients’ care journeys by handling all transport needs—reducing wait times, improving patient flow, and enhancing outcomes.

Who can use your transportation services?
Our services are available to individuals experiencing behavioral or mental health challenges, Medicaid-eligible clients, and those referred by hospitals, clinics, or care facilities.
Are your drivers trained in behavioral health care?
Yes. All drivers are trained in trauma-informed care, de-escalation techniques, and mental health transport protocols in accordance with Colorado BHST regulations.
Is your service covered by Medicaid?
Yes. We provide Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) for eligible Medicaid recipients. Please contact us to confirm eligibility or schedule a ride.
